Dear Colleagues:

I invite you to submit nominations for the 2025–2026 UCLA Academic Senate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Awards for Senate Faculty, which the Senate established thirty years ago.

Please give this invitation careful consideration and consult broadly to identify the most qualified and deserving nominees. We welcome nominations for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Awards from any member of the UCLA Academic Senate.

Awards are designated for Senate Faculty who have shown exceptional accomplishments in leadership, innovation, initiatives, and creativity related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in research or teaching at UCLA. The nomination period will run from Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. to Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
