By long tradition at UCLA, two Lecturers have been chosen each year--one from the natural sciences and the other from the humanities, social disciplines or the creative arts. This year, the Committee on Faculty Research Lectureship will name the winner for:

• 109th Faculty Research Lecture for Fall 2010
• 110th Faculty Research Lecture for Spring 2011

The winners will present a public lecture on a topic of their choice. The winners will be officially announced at the Spring Legislative Assembly meeting and will also be invited to a reception given in their honor immediately following each Faculty Research Lecture.
