Committee Charge

The principal charge of the Committee on International Education is to represent the Los Angeles Division in all matters concerning the Education Abroad Program (EAP).

Membership
The committee consists of five faculty members with a vote, two ex officio members without a vote (the Faculty Director and the Administrative Director of the International Education Office), and two student representatives (1 undergraduate and 1 graduate).

Interactions with Administration
Primarily interacts with the administrative branch via the ex officio members (the campus Faculty Director and the Administrative Director of the International Education Office) and the Associate Vice Provost for International Studies. The Committee on International Education also interacts with the UC Education Abroad Program and the University Committee on International Education.

The Committee on International Education typically meets twice per quarter.
