Faculty Eligibility:
All members of the Academic Senate including
emeriti and those on sabbatical leave may apply. Support will be granted
for participation in a maximum of ONE conference or meeting of scholarly
societies per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) per individual, subject to
availability of funds.

Discounted Fares:
Significant
savings and flexibility to make changes or even cancel a trip are the major
benefits of using state fares, otherwise known as YCAL fares, for your business
travel. YCAL fares are ideal for situations when it is not possible to meet
advance purchase requirements or to stay over a weekend.
They are fully
refundable, changeable, and upgradeable, and can be charged directly to your
University account.
YCAL fares are
available only through UCLA Travel. State fares are also available to
a number of international destinations, including Mexico City, Tokyo and
London. Other common University destinations include Paris, Frankfurt,
