Statements from Engineering School Dean and Computer Science Chair on the
death of Danny Pearl. Danny Pearl was the son of Judea Pearl, a professor in the
Computer Science Department at UCLA.
"On behalf of the engineering school, I want to extend to Judea Pearl our
deepest sympathies for his incalculable loss. We are terribly saddened by
this tragedy and extend to the entire Pearl family our condolences."
